This page provide a timeline for all happenings on Harper's Island that we can pinpoint a year for. The listings will provide a date, if possible, as well as the source of the information in parenthesis.

Please note that any date occurring after 2008 is most likely NOT the actual date, but, rather, the date a post occurred. Harper's Island is set in September, 2008.

Prohibition (1920 - 1933)

• The Candlewick Inn is built. (Island page)

1923

• 1951, September 29: Christopher Cullen is born on Harper's Island. (News Archive)

• February 11: Katherine Wellington is born. (Bang)

1978

• The Wellington family starts to visit Harper's Island on a yearly basis.

1980s

• John Wakefield is arrested for attempted murder of a police officer and given a life sentence. (News Archive)

• Henry Dunn wins the Harper's Island fishing competition for his age group at age 10.

2000s

2001

• The John Wakefield Murders occur on Harper's Island.
  • Deputy Cole Harkin is sent to Washington Pacific University's Burn Treatment Center.
• Deputy Cole Harkin returns to Harper's Island two and a half months after the attacks. (News Archive)

• June 2: Robin starts a blog while attending college. (WPU Dorm Diaries)
• August 10: Robin catches the masked man who was stealing clothing from students in her dorm. (WPU Dorm Diaries)
• September 2: Robin overhears students talking about a hazing they have planned. (WPU Dorm Diaries)
• September 4: Robin blogs about a party she's going to. (WPU Dorm Diaries)
• September 5: Robin attends Cody's party.
• September 5: Cody, Ashley, and Peck are killed in a car accident.
• Mid-September: Robin receives a letter from Hometown Press, asking her to work at Harper's Globe. (I Come Bearing Internet)
• Mid-September: Robin arrives on Harper's Island. (The Community Manager Is In The Building)
• Mid-September: Robin meets Brent. (Read Between The Lines)
• September 22: Robin heads to Seattle with Brent.

Late September Timeline

This timeline is VERY ambiguous. We can only pinpoint during which episode events occurred. It was originally assumed that the events in "Whap" occurred on September 24, due to the date seen on Trish Wellington's cell phone, but several references internal to the show have disproven this.
