Lucy Daramour was a bridesmaid and a socialite. She and Trish Wellington spent summers together on Harper's Island. She carried her dog Gigi everywhere with her in a handbag. Lucy died of severe burns after falling into a pitfall trap in "Crackle".
On the Island
In "Whap," as the Tarapunga boards in Seattle, Lucy and Beth Barrington are frightened by Madison Allen, who pretends she has a severed finger in a box. Later, on the boat ride to the Island, Chloe Carter tells Beth and Lucy about the John Wakefield murders. Lucy says that Chloe has a "thing" for serial killers. As Chloe mentions that Abby Mills's mother was a victim, a seagull lands between them. At the dinner that evening at the Candlewick Inn, Lucy, Trish, and the other bridesmaids discuss whether men and women can be "friends." Later Lucy talks with Beth and considers cheating on her boyfriend with one of the groomsmen. Lucy and Beth question Abby about her friendship with the groom, Henry Dunn, when Henry interrupts, looking for his brother J.D., and Abby escapes to go look for him.
In "Crackle", Lucy participates in a scavenger hunt for the wedding party planned by Henry and Trish. She is on the blue team with Abby, Richard Allen, and Cal Vandeusen, who has been tricked into switching teams by Christopher "Sully" Sullivan. At the Cannery, Nikki Bolton scolds Lucy for allowing Gigi to walk on the bar, as the team tries to answer trivia questions about Henry and Trish. Cal decides to go after Chloe, and the blue team abandons the scavenger hunt. As Lucy returns to her room at the Inn, she talks with her boyfriend, Ryan, on her cell phone. Lucy finds Trish waiting in her room, and the two discuss Hunter Jennings. Lucy tells Trish that they have dated creeps like Hunter in the past, but they both have good guys now. Lucy suggests that Trish should talk to her father about the situation. Later that evening, Lucy attends the bonfire party at Harmon Beach. When Shane Pierce and Jimmy Mance arrive, Henry punches Shane, and, in the commotion, Gigi runs away. Lucy goes into the woods to search for her.
Death
As Lucy searches the woods for her dog, Gigi, she falls into a pitfall. She hears Gigi barking at the mouth of the pitfall and calls for help. Lucy is then doused with gasoline, and a lit match is thrown down on her, igniting the fuel.
Lucy's disappearance and lack of concern about her were not immediately explained in the show. In an interview with Sean Rogerson (Joel Booth), it was explained that a scene regarding Lucy's planned visit to Seattle to see Ryan was ultimately cut. In "Thwack," Trish is surprised to see Gigi in the woods, stating that Lucy is in Seattle and that she would be returning with Ryan for the wedding.
Gigi
Gigi is Lucy's "accessory dog", whom she claims "is people". In "Crackle", Gigi runs away from the bonfire party. Lucy goes searching for Gigi when she falls into a pitfall. Gigi stands at the mouth of the pitfall as Lucy is burned to death. Afterwards, Gigi is left to fend for herself, and is found by Cole Harkin, who begins to care for her.
Gigi is a chihuahua and teacup poodle mix, and was found by the dry cleaner of the dog trainer who worked on the show. Gigi is actually played by a male dog.
