Lisa was the on-again-off-again girlfriend of Brett. After finding a diamond ring while walking on the beach, Brett proposed to Lisa on the spot.
They later go to the Cannery to celebrate with friends ("Sploosh"). When Nikki Bolton tells Cal Vandeusen the story of how Brett and Lisa found the engagement ring, Cal confronts Brett, telling Brett that the ring is the same one that Cal lost. Brett declines to return the ring. When Cal tells his girlfriend Chloe Carter about the situation, she makes a scene, pretending to be a jilted lover. She accuses Brett of cheating on her, slapping the stunned Brett in the face. Chloe then tells Brett that she is carrying his child. A horrified Lisa breaks up with Brett on the spot. She throws the ring on the floor, and it is quickly retrieved by Cal.
