Harper's Globe is the fictional newspaper that serves all of Harper's Island and the cities surrounding it, and was founded in 1923. The newspaper owns the site HarpersGlobe.com, and is owned by Hometown Press. Current Editor in Chief, Sparky Mackle, claims that the newspaper is "the most acclaimed in the Pacific Northwest."

The newspaper is currently in the midst of attempting to digitize all of its archived articles.
