Darryl Riggens

Officer Darryl Riggens is a member of the Washington State Police. Darryl is shot soon after his arrival on the island.
On the Island
Darryl is sent to retrieve J.D. Dunn from Harper's Island in "Snap". He clearly has passed flight training, as he pilots an airplane to the island.
He also appears to have a considerable amount of whaling knowledge, making statements about whales and knowing what a head spade is off hand.
Death
When Darryl lands on Harper's Island with Tyra Coulter, they are both shot as they are getting out of the airplane. Their bodies land in the ocean and float there until Shane Pierce discovers them shortly thereafter.
