Christopher "Sully" Sullivan was Henry Dunn's best man and had been his best friend since high school. Sully was stabbed and killed by Henry in "Sigh".

Recent Events

Sully (right), makes a toast with Abby and the groomsmen. ("Whap")

As the wedding party boards the Tarapunga in Seattle for the boat trip to Harper's Island, the groomsmen greet Henry with chants of "Bro, Bro, Bro..." ("Whap"). Danny Brooks sees Trish Wellington looking down on them. Trish mouths, "I love you," and all the groomsmen vie for her attention. She confirms that she meant Henry, and he announces that he wins. Sully greets Abby Mills with a glass of champagne, but she bypasses him and grabs Malcolm Ross's beer and chugs it down, claiming that she now feels better. Sully hugs Abby as the other members of the wedding party cheer. On the boat ride to the Island, Sully is asked if Abby should have been Henry's best man. He says that the best friend's job is to take care of the groom's feelings, and the best man's job is to take care of the bachelor party.

Abby, Sully, Malcolm, and Chloe find Cal. ("Crackle")

In "Crackle," as the wedding party prepares to participate in a scavenger hunt, Sully convinces Cal Vandeusen to switch teams with him, in order to get closer to Chloe Carter, Cal's girlfriend. Sully joins the yellow team, with Chloe, Danny, and Joel Booth. Fascinated by the Wakefield murders, Chloe discovers Wakefield's grave at the Eastern Bluff, covered by melted candles. Sully joins Chloe, and attempts to kiss her, which she rebuffs. The group splits up, and Sully becomes lost in the woods. He discovers Cal hanging, caught in a snare. He takes Cal's map and leaves to get help. That night, at the bonfire party on Harmon Beach, Chloe asks if anyone has seen Cal, causing Sully to remember leaving Cal in the woods. Sully leads Abby, Chloe and Malcolm to find Cal.

The next day ("Ka-Blam"), Sully talks to Chloe as she does yoga on the lawn. Later Chloe flirts with Sully at the spa as he is covered in honey. Cal surprises Sully with a feather pillow and dumps the feathers on him, which stick to the honey. Cal thanks Chloe for her help and runs away, chased through the Inn by Sully, who is covered in feathers. That evening, the groomsmen make fun of Sully, and Henry says that he and Cal are now even.

Henry and the groomsmen find Hunter's boat. ("Bang")

The next morning ("Bang"), Sully and the groomsmen surprise Henry with a fishing trip. On the water, Malcolm laments about being broke, as Henry catches a fish and Sully jumps overboard with his blowup doll, Muffin. Sully then pretends to be pulled underwater. When they investigate a large gathering of seagulls, they discover Hunter Jennings's boat, along with his remains. Malcolm notices a bag full of money and pleads with the others to agree to take it. He also finds a gun in the bag, and he accidentally shoots a hole in Hunter's boat, sinking it. The groomsmen reluctantly agree to keep the money. Back at the Candlewick Inn, they discover they have $250,000 and argue about what to do with the cash. Malcolm convinces Henry to keep the money until after the wedding. The groomsmen later discuss how to spend the money at the Inn's bar. Two men enter carrying pistols in holsters, prompting them all to run outside. They decide to hide the money, and Joel Booth is chosen to hide it.

That evening at the Cannery, the two men with guns appear again and ask for Sully, revealing that they are the bouncers for the stripper he had hired for the bachelor party. The stripper, Stacy DeKnight, performs and recognizes Henry as a friend of her older brother's and shows off. Stacy hits on Cal, to Sully's disbelief.

When they cannot find Booth the following day ("Thwack"), Sully suggests that Booth either took the money and ran back to his mother's house or is dead, but Malcolm calms the groomsmen's fears. At the Church, before the wedding rehearsal begins, Sully confesses to Henry that he tried to date Trish after Henry and Trish broke up in 2005, but Trish declined. Henry tells Sully that Trish told him all about it.

Malcolm tells Sully and Danny of Booth's death. ("Thrack, Splat, Sizzle")

In "Thrack, Splat, Sizzle," Sully, Malcolm, and Beth Barrington discuss their suspicions regarding the murder when Danny tells them that the Sheriff is searching hotel rooms. Malcolm goes to his room to remove the stolen money. As Malcolm prepares to leave his room with the money in his backpack, Sully and Danny appear at the door, accusing Malcolm of taking Muffin. Sully searches Malcolm's bag, discovering the money, and Danny questions him about Booth. Malcolm relays the story of Booth's death to Sully and Danny. He claims to have lied out of desperation for the money and is attacked by Danny. They agree to go to the Sheriff and retrieve Booth's body.

The power suddenly goes out. ("Gurgle")

As the wedding party prepares to leave the Island on a chartered boat, they discuss J.D. Dunn, and Sully remarks that, at one time, J.D. and Henry seemed like best friends ("Gurgle"). When Shea Allen tells them that her daughter, Madison is missing, Henry asks the others to help search, and they reluctantly agree. Sully, Danny, and Beth search the rooms at the Candlewick, noting that Malcolm's bag is still in his room. They then search the kitchen. Sully expresses annoyance at the possibility of missing the boat, while Beth looks in the refrigerator. Sully and Danny discuss the fact that Malcolm is the only one who knows where Booth was buried. When none of the search parties find Madison, Henry gathers everyone at the Inn, and they discuss all that has happened. Sully questions why they need to stay on the Island in danger to save Madison, and Trish slaps him. When the power goes out, Maggie leads Sully, Danny, and Cal to the shotgun cabinet. Cal attempts to convince Sully that guns are a bad idea, but Sully maintains they are necessary. Henry and Abby arrive and side with Sully. Jimmy appears and tells the group that he wondered why he didn't see Abby on the boat when it left. Sully declares that since some guests have left, more leaving won't affect Madison and attempts to commission Jimmy's boat. Henry tells everyone to stay, since Madison is still missing. When Henry and Danny go to start the generator, Sully, Chloe, Beth, and Cal head for the Marina.

At the Marina, Sully leads Beth, Cal, and Chloe to find a boat to take. As Sully finds a boat and starts it, Cal refuses to leave. He convinces Chloe to stay, and Beth questions whether to stay or go. As Sully prepares to leave, Cal notices J.D. running along an adjacent dock. Sully grabs his gun and leads everyone after J.D. When Jimmy, Abby, and Sheriff Mills arrive in Jimmy's truck, Sully bangs on the window telling them that J.D. has escaped from jail.

Shane pulls his shotgun on Sully. ("Seep")

In "Seep," Sully and Beth return to the Candlewick. Shea argues with Sully about Madison and his attempt to leave. Sully tells everyone of J.D.'s death, leading Trish to question who really killed her father. Suddenly, a pair of headlights illuminates the room and loud music can be heard coming from outside. Sully and Danny head outside the Candlewick and discover Shane Pierce's truck, with the keys still in the ignition. Sully turns off the truck and, as he turns to leave, Shane racks his shotgun. Danny attempts to convince Shane to lower his gun, but concedes when Shane appears unconcerned with shooting Sully. Shane asks for J.D., and Sully tells him about J.D.'s death. Shane refuses to believe the news at first, but eventually agrees to go inside with them, to avoid the killer. Shane leads Danny and Sully into the Inn at gunpoint and tells everyone to move into a group. Henry arrives and points his shotgun at the back of Shane's head, as Danny and Sully disarm Shane and shove him into a corner. Beth, Danny, and Sully go into the kitchen, resolving to stay there until morning, but Sully and Danny return to the lobby when they hear Henry arguing with Shane. After Abby reads Wakefield's prison diary and discovers that she may be Wakefield's daughter, Shane blames Abby's presence on the island for the murders, and Sully begins to agree. All eyes turn to Abby, as she runs out of the room.

When Shane denies Abby reentry to the Inn, Henry begins a fight with Shane, forcing Danny and Sully to break it up. Suddenly, Sully realizes Beth is missing. Danny and Sully return to the kitchen and find Beth's lantern, broken on the floor, and blood coming from under a nearby door. They break open the door and search for Beth. As Sully searches the refrigerator, Danny notes more blood. Trish, Henry, and Abby join them, and they discover an entrance to an underground tunnel. As they search the tunnels, Sully notes more blood on the floor. Sully suggests that Abby could be the killer since she is the one with Wakefield's blood running through her veins. Finding the blood trail going in two directions at an intersection in the tunnels, Abby suggests they split into two groups. Sully follows Danny and says that Abby can go with Henry and Jimmy. Danny and Sully spot a pool of blood on the mouth of a crawlspace in their section of tunnel. Sully says that there is no way he is going in there, and Danny reluctantly decides to crawl into the small tunnel. There, he finds the upper portion of Beth's body. They run back to the tunnel intersection and find Henry and Jimmy who reveal that they are heading back to look for tools with which to free Abby, who has been trapped by a falling grate. They all return to the lobby and search for tools. Trish, Abby, Shea, and Madison pull up in Shane's truck, and everyone rushes outside to meet them.

Sully kisses Nikki. ("Snap")

After finding Katherine Wellington dead in the solarium, Henry asks Jimmy to ready his boat for everyone to leave the Island ("Snap"). Sully and Danny express their disbelief, remarking that Katherine was alive just ten minutes earlier. As the group makes its way to the marina, Trish asks about Sully's experience with a firearm, and he jokingly states his affinity for shooting games. When they reach the marina, the docks suddenly explode, and they come under sniper fire. They run for cover inside the Cannery. The group discusses plans for getting the group to the sailboat that Cal and Chloe had rented, and Sully and Cal volunteer to get it. To help create a diversion, several of the group make Molotov cocktails at the bar using liquor bottles and dish soap, which Sully explains will make them act like napalm. As Sully and Cal prepare to run for Nikki Bolton's car, Henry tosses a few Molotovs into the parking lot. Chloe kisses Cal goodbye, and Sully takes the opportunity to kiss Nikki. Sully and Cal run into the parking lot at Henry's instruction, heading to the car. Cal runs to the driver's side, forgetting about American car configuration, and is shot in the shoulder. As shots continue, Sully covers Cal and helps him into the car before crawling in himself. Sully successfully starts the car, and they manage to leave the parking lot without further harm. Sully takes the injured Cal to the clinic and places him on the exam table. Cal tells Sully to remove the bullet, assuring Sully that he will instruct him.

In "Splash," after Sully dresses Cal's wound, Sully and Cal get back in Nikki's car. Sully tells Cal that he got the bullet out, but Cal passed out before he gave Sully instructions on suturing the wound, so he kind-of made a mess of it. They go to look for the sailboat, only to find it gone. They head back, and, hearing the churchbell, go to the Church. Distracted by the arrival of Sully and Cal, the group fails to notice Chloe being kidnapped by Wakefield. Upon realizing that Chloe has been taken into the underground tunnels, Henry orders the group to split up and block all known exits to the tunnels. Sully and Danny go to block the tunnel exit in the kitchen at the Candlewick. As they board up the door, someone knocks loudly, and Danny and Sully empty their shotguns at the door. After Danny looks through one of the holes in the door, a metal object is thrust through the opening. Danny and Sully realize that they have to protect their friends, and they reluctantly enter the tunnels.

Danny and Sully manage to capture Wakefield. ("Gasp")

Later, Sully and Danny emerge from the tunnels through a pipe near a small river. As they hunt for Wakefield, Sully suggests they split up. Danny walks alone along a trail, as Wakefield stalks him ("Gasp"). As Wakefield steps out behind Danny, Sully successfully fires a shot at Wakefield, wounding him in the face. Sully comments that their strategy worked, but Danny suggests that next time Sully can be the bait. When Abby and Henry arrive, Sully decides to let Abby kill Wakefield, but she hits him in the face with the butt of her shotgun instead. Sully argues that they're making a mistake not killing Wakefield, but they decide to tie Wakefield up and take him to the Sheriff's station, locking him in a holding cell. Sully grabs a set of keys to the station's weapons locker, as Danny attempts to convince him to leave Wakefield alone. Sully grabs a stun gun and heads to Wakefield's cell, telling him to back away from the bars. Wakefield refuses, and Sully stuns him in order to remove Deputy Garrett's body from the holding area.

Madison attempts to help Sully with the radio. ("Gasp")

Madison talks to Sully as he examines the broken radio at the Sheriff's office, revealing he has knowledge of the inner workings of a radio. When Shea mentions the contents of Jimmy's police file that she and Madison found in the attic, Sully begins to suspect him of helping Wakefield. After Jimmy appears, telling Henry that Trish slipped and fell at the bluffs, Henry, Jimmy, Sully, and Abby go to the bluff to find Trish. When they don't find Trish immediately, Henry and Sully want to shoot Jimmy, but Abby intervenes. Trish appears saying that she slipped and fell. Near the base of the bluffs, Trish has found a boathouse with a radio. Trish leads the group to the boathouse, and Jimmy and Sully make contact with the Coast Guard on the radio. Sully volunteers to stay and monitor the radio.

Henry attempts to clue Sully in. ("Sigh")

In "Sigh," Madison and Shea arrive at the boathouse telling Sully of Wakefield's escape. Sully reacts angrily as Shea informs him that Danny fought with Wakefield to allow them to escape. Sully notes the boat hanging in the boathouse and decides to use it to leave the Island. Sully launches the boat into the water and attempts to rev up the engine. Shea begs Sully to join them, but he refuses. Shea attempts to turn back as well, but Sully reminds her to think of Madison first, and he pushes the boat forward. Henry enters the boathouse as Sully radios the Coast Guard, telling them to be on the lookout for Shea and Madison heading East from Harper's Island in a small boat. Henry asks why Sully didn't leave with the boat, and remarks that not leaving could be the dumbest thing Sully has ever done. Sully talks to the Coast Guard, agreeing to meet their helicopter at the marina in forty-five minutes. Henry says that they should find Trish first, and the two leave the boathouse. While walking through the woods, Henry slowly reveals that he is the killer to a disbelieving Sully.

Death

Henry stabs Sully with a knife. ("Sigh")

When Sully finally realizes Henry is Wakefield's accomplice, Henry draws his knife, and Sully prepares to shoot Henry, but Henry reveals that he removed the shotgun shells. Henry comes clean to Sully regarding some of the murders he and Wakefield committed. Henry tells Sully that Wakefield is behind him, but Sully does not turn around until he hears Wakefield's voice. Caught off guard, Sully is stabbed in the back by Henry, who says, "You never should've dogged Trish," before finishing him off.
